UX (User Experience) and Information Architecture
Programme and Events

Streamlined workshop information display with structured formatting of key details, emphasizing clear hierarchy and scannable content to help users quickly find and understand essential participation requirements.

Overview.

The website utilizes organic shapes and vibrant colors to captivate our target audience. We provide an interactive map page that allows users to easily navigate and enjoy the local tour. Additionally, our event page invites users to participate in various cultural activities, making it simple for them to engage with the arts through our platform.

Research & Planning

  • Develop a vibrant, eye-catching color scheme using neon yellow-green to convey energy and creativity.

  • Curate contrasting images that showcase urban arts and culture, such as a cozy, book-filled interior and a close-up of a handcrafted object.

  • Implement bilingual text (English and Chinese) to reach a wider audience and highlight the multicultural nature of the initiative.

Design & Prototyping

  • Incorporate organic shapes and rounded edges to soften the urban theme and enhance approachability.

  • Use stylized, modern typography for "ARTS IN THE CITY" to reflect an urban and contemporary feel.

  • Create a minimalist layout that focuses on key visual elements and text.

  • Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on clarity and user experience from target users.

  • Iterate on designs based on user input and test results.

  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of the design.
